To add to the advice already given, the only mods that are capable of throwing a core version mismatch error on startup are Core Mods. Both 1.67 and 1.69 are considered current. (This option is also shown on my Story Progression General Settings page but I’m repeating it here for clarity. The message on our site about not asking for older versions pertains to players on Patches 1.63 and prior. NRaas > Story Progression > Town Options > Friendship: Allow Celebrity = False I disabled the game’s celebrity system in Story Progression’s Town Options and made it career based instead, by doing the following:. NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > CLASS - POOR > Romance: Allow Partner Caste = CLASS - POOR.NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > CLASS - LOWER-MIDDLE Romance: Allow Partner Caste = CLASS - LOWER-MIDDLE.Flirt: Allow Caste = CLASS - LOWER-MIDDLE.
NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > CLASS - UPPER-MIDDLE > Romance: Allow Partner Caste = CLASS - RICH.NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > CLASS - RICH > To allow Poor Sims to flirt with Poor, Lower-Middle and Upper-Middle Class Sims but only go steady and marry Poor or Lower-Middle Class Sims.To allow Lower-Middle Class Sims to flirt, go steady and marry Poor, Lower-Middle and Upper-Middle Class Sims.To allow Upper-Middle Class Sims to flirt, go steady and marry Rich, Upper-Middle and Lower-Middle Class Sims.To allow Rich Sims to flirt with Rich, Upper-Middle and Lower-Middle Class Sims but only go steady and marry Rich and Upper-Middle Class Sims.To restrict which careers are available for each class. To enable an automatic taxing system based on class, so sims who earn more money will pay more tax. These castes were set up for the following reasons. NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > YOUNG ADULT MALES > ( To prevent flirting between Young Adult Males and Adult Females) NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > YOUNG ADULT FEMALES > Flirt: Disallow Caste = YOUNG ADULT FEMALES.Caste: Automatic = True (Click Checkmark).NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > TEEN MALES > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (To prevent flirting between Teen Males and Young Adult Females) Caste: Automatic= True (Click Checkmark).NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > ADULT MALES > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (To prevent flirting between Adult Males & Elder Females) Flirt: Disallow Caste = YOUNG ADULT MALES.Caste: Automatic = True (Click Checkmark).NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > ADULT FEMALES > (To prevent flirting between Adult Females and Young Adult Males) NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > (Add New Caste) > To prevent the occurrence of “Toy Boys” (a younger man being partnered with an older woman), I created five new castes as follows:. This is only relevant if any of the Story Progression Personalities modules are installed.) (Prevent s my sims from becoming one of the personalities. (Prevent s my sims from purchasing deeds to rabbit holes and venues around town.) (Prevent s my sims from selling items out of their personal inventories.) Money: Allow Inventory Management = False.(Prevent s my sims from becoming involved in debt or mooching scenarios.) (Prevents my sims from moving to another house as a family.) Household: Allow Move: As Family = False.( As I have the “Death: Push Chance” option set to 15 in my Town Options, I need to set it to 0 in this caste to prevent my sims dying prematurely.) ( Gives this caste priority over castes with a lower priority.) ( Automatically adds any babies to this caste when they are born within these households.) ( Prevents my sims from finding new jobs but they will still be able to progress in their current jobs.) NRaas > Story Progression > Caste Options > (Add New Caste) > MY FAMILIES
SIMS 3 NRAAS HOW TO
For instructions on how to do this, see step 3 of “ How do I add a caste to a sim?” at the NRaas website. I manually applied this caste to these households when I added them to the town. I wanted a caste to control the households I play in rotation, whenever they are inactive. The General and Town Options settings are on the Story Progression General Settings page. The settings below are also contained within the file linked to on that page. I name all the castes I create in capital letters so they are easy to differentiate from the default castes. These are all the castes I have created or changed within Story Progression, to control the inactive sims in my town but some settings affect the active sims too.
